AOL AOL Mail for Verizon Customers - AOL Help

Verizon was a Verizon Communications email service. It had all the functionality you need to get your email service free of charge. The webmail platform and the email client-based applications made the email service easily available.

In 2017, Verizon moved the Verizon email addresses of its customers to AOL, another company which it owns and uses to provide email services. You can still use your old address if you are a Verizon user, but you must have either moved it to an AOL mail service or removed it.

Certain Verizon customers who have previously moved to Yahoo will continue to have access to them through Verizon’s own Yahoo.

How to Sign Up for a New Verizon Account?

Since Verizon announced its service took off in 2017, it has given its customers time within the deadline to move their email addresses to AOL and Yahoo at www.verizon.net. In addition, when AOL was announced, the email segment was taken down, and now those who wish to sign in for a new mail account in Verizon can log into mail.aol.com or yahoo.com.

Steps Login Verizon.net Email

You are aware that you can no longer create a new Verizon email account, but you can still access the old email accounts by visiting the AOL login page or Verizon Yahoo Mail page if you migrated your account into AOL mail or Yahoo.

Go to each of the above login pages (AOL or Yahoo).

Enter your full email address for Verizon and click Next

Enter your email password for Verizon and click on “Login”

You have to make sure that you enter the right information. Verizon email login is just the 3 steps above. Please take care with your password when it’s case sensitive and if not in use, Caps Lock must be off.

Verizon Email Login Using AOL

For years, Verizon provided Verizon email addresses for its residential internet clients and they were able to access their Verizon email addresses using the Verizon webmail login portal or a third-party email program.

But as of 2017, Verizon provided these customers the ability either to move the addresses of AOL or to extract their data from a third-party email provider to save or load into their account. If customers have transferred their files, their full email addresses, such as username@verizon.net, can be used for signing into AOL. You can do this on a smartphone via the AOL website or the AOL app.
